Before joining BCBusiness, David had been editor of Granville magazine and associate editor of Business in Vancouver. He has a Ph.D in comparative literature from the University of Toronto and has taught writing at both UBC and SFU. He got his start in publishing as a proofreader for Harlequin Books.

With a photographic memory of every issue for 15 years, Cathy is the institutional knowledge of BCBusiness. In previous lives, she was art director of Western Living and Vancouver Magazine. She's been recognized many times for her work, most recently at the 2010 Western Magazine Awards, for Best Cover Design.

A writer for as long as she can remember, Kate's professional editorial career began at FASHION magazine in 2001. A prolific freelancer, she has contributed to over 30 Canadian and international publications ranging from The Globe and Mail to Surfer, from Cottage Life to Chatelaine. When she's not at her keyboard, she's usually on a mountain or in an ocean.

Lindsey moved to Vancouver from Atlanta, Ga, where she was a born-and-bred Southern belle. Upon graduation from journalism school at the University of Georgia, she began her career as a copy editor for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Sweet tea, black-and-white movies and blogging are a few of her favourite things.

Ben, an Ontario transplant, started at BCBusiness in 2007. He cut his design teeth at Toronto's Highrise before making the move west. Ben is admired by photographers and illustrators for his routine ability to get fine work from B.C.'s best creatives.

Kristen, a master of publishing graduate from SFU, came to Canada Wide in 2010. She enjoys wordplay, live music, and entering The New Yorker's caption contest. She manages the BCBusiness Facebook.
