Kitchen Craft: Creating first-class Canadian-made Cabinetry

Kitchen Craft is Canada’s largest kitchen cabinetry manufacturer. The company has been proudly providing Canadian-made products and first-class customer service  since 1972.

In recent years, the firm – which creates top-quality cabinetry for every room in the house – has expanded its product offering to match the vibe of the modern B.C. and West Coast market.

“We’ve always been known for a wide variety of traditional cabinetry and not as much for West Coast contemporary,” says Kitchen Craft Vancouver general manager, Shaun Krahn.

“Since 2009 we’ve diversified and now have a team of people that travel the world eyeing upcoming trends, from fashion to architecture. We then create new door styles and colours based on those findings.”

Kitchen Craft has been part of the MasterBrands and Fortune Brand Family of companies since 2005 (Fortune Brand was voted Most Admired Company in North America for 2009 by Fortune Magazine).

It has built a name and reputation on the products it designs, builds and installs in thousands of homes across Canada every year.

The firm is also a proud champion of Canadian resources and its people. “We’ve been a Canadian manufacturer (based in Winnipeg, Manitoba) of locally sourced product and a supporter of Canadian employment for 39 years,” says Krahn.

In addition, Kitchen Craft’s success can be attributed to the unique trust-based bond it forges with customers and offering high-quality products with added extras. It’s also an eco-friendly firm and in 2007 was awarded the Environmental Stewardship Award.

Going forward, the company will continue to diversify and modernize its product line, while simultaneously strengthening its brand – both individually and within the MasterBands family.

“We never stop growing,” says Krahn. “We’ll keep listening to our customers and the market and develop products that are relevant and long-lasting.”
