How not to play golf: BCB digital editor John Bucher takes you on a tour of vital golf slang – and the hacks that inspired them.

In the May issue of BCBusiness, Jim Sutherland takes you on a tour of the six best courses in B.C. that might never come to be. Jim's an old golf hand, and he throws down some lingo with which you might not be familiar. In the event you're not up on the ins and outs – the shanks and duffs, as it were – of golf terminology, we're here to help.

Shank. Skull. Chili dip. Three-jack. In this video, BCB digital editor John Bucher takes you on whirlwind tour of some of the stranger – and more musically named – sins you can commit on a golf course. A warning: the light was getting low whille the video was shot, and so some of the "takes" are less than totally "clean." You'll see what we mean.
