A friend of mine told me a long time ago to never burn a bridge. There may be people that you meet at certain times in your life and don’t appreciate, but you may never know when you need to talk to them or meet with them again. It’s not easy; in fact, it’s probably the toughest thing to do, to not hold grudges.

There was one time when I was in a business transaction and an acquaintance of mine sort of interfered in the deal by trying to talk the other party out of it. But I’ve tried not to hold a grudge, and I carry on a relationship with this individual. I guess it’s similar to another saying: remember all the faces you see on the way up, because if you’re not a good person on the way up, let me tell you, the fall down is so much faster – and there’s no cushion when you land.
