Good gravy! A king has his courtiers, and the King has his impersonators. And many of these Elvis lookalikes—who draw inspiration from different stages of the singer's life, from the agile and lissome to the drugged and bloated—buy their jumpsuits from one Nanaimo woman. Eleanor von Boetticher is star costumer to the star impersonators.

Brennan Clarke writes about Eleanor in "The King's Seamstress," in the May 2008 issue of BCBusiness.
