Andrea Eng, the subject of a 2008 BCBusiness profile, "The Zen of Andrea Eng," made her name as a commercial real estate broker at the epicentre of a city that, in the late ’80s and early ’90s, was being bought up by Hong Kong investors to the tune of $3 billion annually.
With the local property prices stalling as the global financial system checks its vital signs, now may be a good time to look back at some of the biggest real estate transactions of the past 20 months, whether in a spirit of bliss, perplexity or Schadenfreude.
