President, White Spot Ltd.

What’s your hope for 2010?
My hope is that the economy continues to recover and that B.C. shines during the Olympics. I’m also hoping for continued – and successful – growth when it comes to hiring great people, as well as labour market stability.

In your world, what needs to happen to make the year a success?
The Games go off without a hitch, the economy strengthens, the dollar drops just enough to give tourism a jump-start and millions of British Columbians continue to make White Spot and Triple Os a regular treat.

If you could wave a magic wand, what would appear – or disappear – on Jan. 1?

H1N1. Let’s hope it was just another Y2K. Also, that the Olympics were a great success and, for the restaurant industry, that the HST announcement was just a bad dream.

What keeps you up at night?
The threat of someone opening up the vault and stealing our Triple O sauce recipe.
