At a company awards night, Salmon Arm Savings and Credit Union CEO Michael Wagner dressed like Elvis and manned the stage like the king himself. The sense of camaraderie that exists among the employees at the credit union is unparalleled on all levels. “Whether it’s a corporate donation or something more personal, everyone is ready to give their time,” says Sheri Hamilton. “There is a co-worker who was recently diagnosed with cancer, and we’ve been doing everything we can to make things easier.” Employees were even awarded bags of Halloween candy as a token of thanks from management for putting up with a difficult building renovation.
